Elementary and Middle School FUN RUN
February 25, 2021
The Concord Christian Fun Run is an 8-day program and is this semester’s biggest fundraiser, taking place on
February 16th- 25th. Families will be getting pledges for the laps their student runs at the Fun Run. Funds raised from this event go toward STEM Sets!
First, parents log in or sign up on FUNRUN.COM. Then, parents can register their student as a participant on FUNRUN.COM by searching for the school by name. There are two choices for Concord Christian School, one for Kindergarten-5th grade and one for 6th-8th Grade. Students get a FREE prize just for being registered. Parents can help connect students to sponsors by sharing their pledge link on Facebook, through email, or even a text. Sponsors can enter and pay for those pledges online through your student’s pledge link!
The Fun Run track is about 1/16th of a mile, 1/4 the size of a normal high school track. The average student will run 30-35 laps and will have a goal to run at least 30 laps to help their school. The most laps any student will be counted for is 35 laps. All flat donations count toward pledges and are rounded by 30 (the average student will run over 30 laps). So, a $30 donation is the same as $1 per lap. A $60 donation is the same as $2 per lap, etc.
To make our collection process easier and faster, we’re using Booster’s Run and Done Collections. With Run and Done, sponsors pay their pledges online via credit card which will:
- Save our volunteer team 50+ hours of time
- Help our school collect (on average) over 98% of our pledges
- Eliminate the need to send numerous collection reminder emails and letters for months after the program
- Save you from having to track down donations from all your sponsors
Of course, sponsors can still pay by cash/check if they choose. However, instead of spending countless hours counting cash/checks and manually entering them into our system, Run and Done Collections will make our collection process easy-for-everyone. It’s a win-win! If you don't wish to pay with a credit card, you can still make a pledge or flat donation by sending in cash or a check to the school. Just ensure that your $$s or check are designated for Fun Run. Lastly, when a Flat donation is made on funrun.com, the payment is taken out automatically. However, when a pledge per lap donation is made, the payment isn't taken out until after the run on event day when the students' laps are entered on funrun.com.
Parents with middle school AND elementary school students need to watch the video below. Because the schools are doing different types of runs, they have two different types of pages. The video explains how to easily switch back and forth from middle school to elementary school students.

Thank you for working with us to make our school's first Fun Run a success. We are so grateful for your support!
