Concord Christian Preschool is an award-winning educational program at First Baptist Concord and in association with Concord Christian School.Voted CityView's "Best of the Best" preschool in 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024, CCP has served the needs of our community for over 50 years.
With over 400 students enrolled, this fully licensed program offers devoted staff and fantastic facilities at our Kingston Pike Campus.
A Letter from the Director ... Welcome to Preschool!
As Director of Child Care at Concord, what is of utmost importance is that we ensure a safe and loving environment for all children to encounter Jesus. With my degrees (e.g., B.S and M.S.) in Child Development, I have devoted my professional career to intertwining my passions for developmentally appropriate educational practices with my love of our savior, Jesus Christ.
As a freshman in college, I began my professional journey as a teacher's aide at our campus’ Child Development Center where I learned the importance of intentional teaching. I have continued to pursue that intentionality through additional teaching roles, behavioral therapy studies, and administrative work. Seeing each child as an individual and better understanding their overall development permits for greater appreciation of the crucial role faith plays, not only in our character, but also in our neurological makeup.
Whether a child is part-time in our KidzConnect after-school program or just beginning their journey with us as an infant in our preschool, our purpose is for that child to know, see, and receive the love of Jesus each day we're privileged to have them on campus.
Our staff deeply desires for each child to meet Jesus and develop a personal relationship with Him. Everything we do is intentional and pursuant to this goal, as we come alongside each family and disciple the children entrusted to our care. Our mission is to “Inspire people to follow Jesus,” and it is my greatest blessing to be able to serve in this role.
The mission of Concord Christian Preschool is to love, care for, and teach preschoolers in a safe, Christian environment as we partner with parents to build the eternal foundations of their child’s faith.
