From the Head of School
Dear CCS Families,
It is an honor to serve in the role that I do at Concord Christian School. In addition to the emphasis we place on our school’s mission, vision, and core values, we also work hard to prioritize something deeply important to our mission, the Portrait of a Graduate.
This portrait defines the spiritual and character development we desire for each student, and it serves as both a prayer and a purpose that unites us as educators and parents.
At Concord Christian School, we use the acronym LIONS to represent the values we are instilling in our students.
These values include the following:
- Lifelong Disciple – Daily choosing to grow in Christ through the study of Scripture, prayerful dependence, and obedience to God’s Word, forming habits of faith that will endure for a lifetime.
- Innovative Thinker – Approaching challenges with creativity and curiosity, seeking wisdom from God and thinking critically in order to solve problems in ways that reflect His truth and excellence.
- Outstanding Communicator – Using my voice, words, and actions to speak life, share truth with grace, and build others up for the glory of God.
- Noble Integrity – Committing to living honestly and uprightly in all circumstances, even when it’s difficult, because my identity is anchored in Christ’s righteousness.
- Servant Leader – Leading by humbly serving others, using my gifts and influence to reflect the servant-hearted love of Jesus wherever God has placed me.
Our staff is passionately committed to walking alongside your children each day, not only in academics but in the shaping of their hearts and character. As a school who strives to advance Kingdom Education in the best ways, we recognize that the most powerful impact comes when home, school, and church work hand in hand, pointing students toward Christ and inspiring them to grow into the young men and women God created them to be.
