Lincoln S. Thomas - MA, CSCS, USAW

In 1998, Coach Lincoln Thomas graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Over the span of approximately 12 years, he would have the privilege of working with countless numbers of athletes spanning from elementary ages through high school within Knoxville and the Southeast region. As a Lead Trainer/Coach within the organization he worked through, he was also granted the opportunity to train with approximately 27 various NCAA institutions, several professional athletes, and a handful of Olympians. After obtaining his Master’s in Education from Lipscomb University, Lincoln entered the world of Christian education where he has worked in several different roles, including his current one as Concord Christian School’s Director of Strength & Performance since 2023.
Aside from his degrees and past certifications, Coach Lincoln Thomas has over 25 years of coaching experience and currently holds and maintains the following certifications:
- CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) through the NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association)
- Coach Lincoln has held CSCS for over 10 years and is up for review to be granted both his RSCC (Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach) and his RSCC*D (with Distinction)
- HSSCC (High School Strength Coach Certification) through the NHSSCA (National High School Strength Coaches Association):
- Founding member of the NHSSCA in 2016
- Inaugural NHSSCA State Director for TN from 2016-18
- HSSCA State Strength Coach of the Year for TN in 2020
- USAW-1 (Olympic Weightlifting Certification) through The United States Weightlifting Association:
- Certified Olympic Weightlifting Coach since 2012
