JENNIFER ALFORD teaches Middle School Bible and Spanish. She earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee. She has been working in education since 1993 and is also the NJHS Sponsor and Student Council Sponsor.
GINA ANDERSON teaches 6th and 7th grade History. She has an M.A. in Education from Regent University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Lee University. Mrs. Anderson also completed the Tennessee Teaching License Program from Lincoln Memorial University and has been teaching since 2017.
CATRINA ATKINS is the Middle School Substitute and Teacher's Assistant. She earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has been working in education since 2013.
PAMELA DELORENZO is a veteran teacher who has a B.S. degree in Education. She also has an Associate degree in Nursing.
TANYA FLETCHER teaches ESL in High School for International Students and Middle School Language Arts. She has an M.S. in English as a Second Language Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from the State University of NY at Geneseo.
AJA GRIMES teaches Middle School Science. She is a graduate of Samford University with a B.S. in Elementary, Early Childhood, Special Education, and Collaborative Certifications. Mrs. Grimes is currently working on a Master's of Education in Christian School Administration. She is also the ROOTED Coordinator for Middle School Girls.
ANNA HAWKINS is teaching Middle School Chorus and High School Latin. She earned a B.A. in Church Music and Christian Education from Bryan College. She has been working in education since 2002 and is currently working towards an M.S. Degree in Language Studies. Mrs. Hawkins also leads the High School Worship Team.
BRANDON MCBATH teaches Middle School Art and Art Appreciation. He earned a BFA in Studio Art and an Art History Minor from the University of Tennessee. He has been working in education since 2016.
NATALIE RENFROE teaches Middle School Band and 5th grade Keyboarding. She earned M.S. in Music Education from the University of Tennessee and a B.A. in Music Performance and International affairs from Florida State University. She has served as Principle horn for Akademie Ved Orchestra in Prague, Czech Republic, and currently subs as French Horn with the Alpharetta Symphony Orchestra. She will be the Band Director for CCS for the 2021-2022 school year.
ELISA ROBERTS has over 18 years of teaching experience both here and abroad. She has an M.A. in Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Elisa also has a B.A. in Music Education.
JULIE SCROGGINS brings to our team over 12 years of teaching experience in mathematics. She has taught all math levels from 6th grade math to pre-calculus. She has a B.S. in Secondary Education with a Mathematics concentration.
SARAH STARKEY is teaching Middle School Math. She earned a B.A. from the University of Tennessee, majoring in Psychology. Mrs. Starkey also holds a Paralegal Degree from NCPT in Atlanta, GA. She has been working in education since 1998 in administration and the classroom.
COLTON SWEET comes to us with a B.A. degree in History and also has an M.A. of Secondary Education. Colton has 3 years of teaching experience and several years of coaching experience. Colton is also one of our new high school baseball coaches.
JOHN VANDENHURK teaches Middle School Bible. He earned a B.A. in Biblical Education from Florida Bible College. He also has a degree in photojournalism from Defense Information School. Mr. VandenHurk has been working in education since 1992.
HOLLY ZACHARY is a Middle School Language Arts Teacher. She earned an M.S. and B.S. of Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has been working in education since 2000.
